• Minimum order is 36 pcs. to receive wholesale pricing
• You may supply your own shirts (please allow 3% for defects)
• A resale number must be provided
PRINTING ON DARK GARMENTS
Printing on dark garments is a little different that printing on white or light garments. When you print on dark garments with light colors of ink you must “Flash Cure”. “Flash Curing” is when a white “Flash Base” is printed then dried slightly then the other color or colors is printed on top of the base. The reason this is done is that when light or white is printed on dark garment the ink tends to take on the color of the shirt. This procedure solves this problem, however it does cost slightly more.
To get a price on printing on dark garments you can usually add 1 additional color* to the print charge plus a “Flash Cure” charge of .25. For example if you are printing white ink on a black shirt you would pay the price of 2 colors. You would still just have one screen though. Whereas if you printed say gold ink on a black shirt, you would pay for 2 colors ( white base and gold on top) and 2 screens or set-ups one for the white base and one for the gold.
Example:
72 pcs. Black Shirt- with Red and Blue ink (needs white Flash Base)
• 3 Color Print(red,blue,white) = $2.30
• Flash Cure = $.25
• 3 Set-ups = $60.00 ($20.00each color)
• Cost of Garment = TBD
• Art(1 hour) = $40.00
• Shipping = TBD
*Sometimes, we have to “Flash Cure” more than once if there is multiple colors and this is difficult to predict until the job actually reaches the printing press. Please consult the sales department. sales@excellentwearables.com
